I have been trying to do some stuff with Val from STT with the dealership. I have got it approved as of today to be able to put STT flyers in all of our new and used Jeep deals. I am also going to give the salesman a little skit to go over with the customers at time of purchase. I figure if at least 1 or 2 of the customers pay attention that will be 1 or 2 less asshats out there wrecking what we try to save.

Thats cool! MHJC cleaned out their storage shed a couple of years ago and they had these cool little books that had rules of the mountain roads. I got a couple and it would be neat to get some more made. Lots of people including myself when I moved here have no idea there is such a thing and what the proper etiquette is.

Thats it right there. I lived my whole live here and was raised by out doorsy parents. Lots of camping hiking and I learned young always bring back whet you take and make as little as impact as possible. Leave it as you found it for the next person to enjoy. Alot of people don't know and don't think about it. They think some street sweeper is going to follow them around. Lots of people just don't give a shit and if we can change the way those people think one at a time we have accomplished so much. The other chore we have is to try and change the rep that 4 wheelers have with the common folk. The more that care and let other knoe that we care the more support we will have.

Here is a tad that that book has to offer. I'll give you a spare to check out Zack. I think I'll also type one up for the site as a link.
When Meeting Another Vehicle Head-On
Keep Right on Wide Trail
Yield to the Climbing Vehicle on Narrow Trail
When Another Vehicle Approaches from Behind

Signal your slowing to let them pass then move to right side of trail. Do not leave trail surface and flatten vegetation.
When Approaching Another Vehicle from Behind

Pass on left, keeping a safe distance and speed. Once past give a hand signal to signify the number of riders behind you.
Hand Signals

When passing or meeting other riders on the trail, give them a hand signal to let them know how many riders are left behind you in your group.
