Have you taken your tcase apart yet? Let me know when you are ready and I can give you a few tips. Just did mine before moab, and 1 oil pump later, I am just a bit wiser.

yeah I'm gonna do the drive chain and a rebuild kit at the same time. i think my chain is loose. It makes a funny sound. i think that's where my thunk is coming from. I've been soaking all the bolts I can get to with penetrant to aid me later. We'll see how hard it goes. i can always use help even if it's just someone to laugh at me.

I couldn't wait to do something to it so i started my front bumper build. Cut the front fenders back, started mock up. got the winch plated tacked together, and frame plates installed.

Lookin good Adam! In this pic where the bottom plate is tacked you should grind a V to get better penetration. You want some good strength on that joint when you smack it on the rocks. When do you gotta be outa your house? Are you gonna have time to finish it up?

Not sure, i think so, but I just found out that the drive chain and TC rebuild kit won't be here till Mon. afternoon. Are you avail. on sat? Just thinking that I'd like to have someone who really knows what they're doing to help weld the cross member to the frame.
